The Allen-Bradley 1761-L32AYC is a digital output type controller with 120V AC input and a point count of 32 I/O’s. Its inputs can be configured for sinking or sourcing inputs, depending on how the DC COM is wired. For sinking mode, the input is activated when the input terminal is active, or a high-level voltage is applied. For sourcing mode, the input is energized when the input terminal is active low or a low-level voltage is applied. It is in the Bulletin 1761 MicroLogix 1000 Series of programmable logic controller systems.
The 1761-L32AYC 120V AC Controller is equipped with the Master Control Relay feature for enhanced safety. It has a voltage range of 79V AC minimum and 132V AC maximum. Its nominal impedance is 12Kilo ohms at 50Hz, and 10Kilo ohms at 60 Hz. When used for high-speed counters, use input terminals I/0, I/1, I/2, and I/3; and a shielded cable.
The 1761-L32AYC should be mounted horizontally inside an enclosure using either the mounting screw or a DIN rail. Maintain a spacing allowance of at least 2 inches on all sides for proper ventilation and operation. A mounting template is available to help space and mount the device properly. The 1761-L32AYC can also be mounted vertically in an enclosure. When doing this, make sure the nameplate is facing down.
