About
The Allen-Bradley 1762-IA8 is a 120V AC Input Module that extends the I/O capabilities of controller systems to accommodate more. It is part of the Bulletin 1762 MicroLogix Expansion I/O series for the MicroLogix 1200 Programmable Controller Systems. It features a modular, rackless design that makes it easy to replace – minimizing replacement parts inventory and maximizing cost savings. Digital and analog I/O modules can be assembled in many combinations. The 1762-IA8 Digital Input Module can be installed on a DIN rail or mounted on a panel with two mounting screws. It comes with an integrated high-performance I/O bus and network support. It also features finger-safe terminal blocks and software keying that promotes accuracy in positioning within the system.
The Bulletin 1762-IA8 comes with eight digital inputs in one group – inputs 0 to 7 (internally connected commons). These inputs have a maximum On/Off signal delay of 20 milliseconds, a 250 mA maximum inrush current, a maximum bus current draw of 50 mA at 5 Volts DC (0.25 Watts), a 100 to 120 Volt AC voltage category, and an operating voltage range of 79 to 132 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz. Install the 1762-IA8 six modules away from the host machine’s power supplies. This input module is C-UL certified (under CSA C22.2 No. 142), UL 508-listed, and CE compliant.
